## Building PHP packages - a simple guide

I have been building open source packages for longer than I can remember, over this time I have found a workflow that really works for me. In this talk I will take you from the idea of a package all the way to testing using github actions and publishing on packagist.

## About the speaker

Steve has been building software for startups and enterprise scale businesses for the better part of a decade, using a variety of languages and frameworks. In his time in industry he has grown very fond of the PHP language and Laravel framework, and advocates PHP often - also running the PHP South Wales user group for over 2 years now. He runs his own consulting business from rural Wales, where he works with clients all over the world using a mixture of PHP, Go and Node to teach them how to build better, more manageable APIs.
