Form request validation came to Laravel in version 5. And I am going to show you how to get more out of Laravel’s form requests beyond authorizations and validations.

Since it is nice to keep your controllers slim, you can move your validation logic into a form request.

If you do not want to fatten your controller with filtration logic, you can move all that into a form request! It is possible to create your own custom methods in your form requests to lighten your controller and add a little more abstraction there.
