The next version of the Laravel framework, version 8.0, is planned for September 8th. As we're getting close to the release, it becomes clearer which PRs got merged. Some of the new stuff will be unveiled later on, probably at Laracon in late August. I've compiled a list of notable changes. I'll update it when more info is available.
